SUNDAY ADULT CLASS for the last two Sundays in October will host a guest speaker, Dr. Grant Testut, OC Old Testament professor. Dr. Testut will talk about prophets. In this two week class we will take a look at what a prophet's role was understood to be in the ancient world, including the nations of Israel and Judah. We will also explore common themes found in prophetic literature and raise for ourselves this question: what would a prophet look like in our modern context?
