We are a community that cares deeply for each other.  We would love for you to be a part of our community. Check out our upcoming events.  Join the fun. If you have questions please contact us at info@thesprings.cc.

WHAT DO YOU PICTURE when you hear the words “spiritual disciplines?” Do you see a pious monk in a small room, fasting and praying, cloistered away from the rest of the world? What if spiritual disciplines were not solely about our vertical love of God, but also about our horizontal love of neighbor? The Springs will explore these questions in our guest sermon series called Practices of Love: Spiritual Disciplines for the Life of the World. Join us this summer as we learn what spiritual disciplines mean for discipleship, for the love of God and the world he created.

MEETING GOD AT THE MARGINS is the topic for an adult bible class led by Rick Guyer that will begin on August 1. This class will examine Jesus' habit of going to people at the margins of society, and ways we can join him in that mission. The class will include personal stories from people who have experience in this kind of ministry.

THE NEXT WELCOME TABLE will be on Wednesday evening, August 11, 6:30 p.m. in the gym. Join us and invite a neighbor!

A FRIENDSPEAK TRAINING DAY will take place on Saturday, August 14, 9-Noon. If you are interested in learning to use the Bible to help refugees improve their English skills, as well as develop relationships with someone from another country, please join us! Register here: FRIENDSPEAK

A BACK TO SCHOOL CARNIVAL is scheduled for Sunday evening, August 15, 5-7 p.m. Volunteers are needed to work the games, serve food, and other activities. The purpose of the Back To School Carnival is to celebrate together the beginning of school. This is the first “Hello Neighbor” event where we are inviting our neighbors in the homes around The Springs to join us!  The link to sign up to run a booth or game is HERE.

HELPERS ARE NEEDED in a few areas in children's classes and in the nursery. If you are interested in being a loving presence during class or worship for our Springs Kids, contact Kendall Fike, kfike@thesprings.cc

COMMUNION VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED to fill several spots in for the remainder of 2021. If you are interested in becoming a communion prep volunteer (sign up is for one month) please follow this link or contact Arianne Gillham, arianne.gillham@eagles.oc.edu

CONNECTIONS GROUPS A lot is happening in the lives of our church family. Traveling, surgeries, births, recovery, celebrations, & struggles. We are not meant to do life alone. CNX Groups bring us together and offer a better span of care than just a Sunday morning message. We share our lives with others to be needed and known. CNX Groups are where a bigger church feels small. Find your fit in a CNX Group. We want to hear your story.

Please let us know if you’re interested in visiting a group on our visitor card or email Jason Henley, Connections Delegate, at  jasonnealhenley@hotmail.com

IN 2021, OUR FOCUS AS A CHURCH IS TO GROW! We want to grow in our love for God, each other, and our neighbor! One of the ways we can foster a deeper love for God is to discover the truth and beauty of God’s Word together through regular Bible reading. We are beginning a year-long Bible reading plan in January. Our hope is that you will begin your day alone with God, reading scripture, and then responding to his love with action. We will be using the Bible reading app READ SCRIPTURE. You can download the app now, or check it out at readscripture.org Let’s GROW together!

NEED PRAYER? The Springs Staff and Elders continue to pray for you daily during this tough season. If you have a prayer need, please fill out the Prayer Request form on this website: NEED PRAYER?
