springs Events

We are a community that cares deeply for each other.  We would love for you to be a part of our community. Check out our upcoming events.  Join the fun. If you have questions please contact us at info@thesprings.cc.

SOME OF THE HARDEST WORDS in the Bible are in the book of James. Despite reformer Martin Luther infamously calling it “an epistle of straw,” James packs a tight punch of wise, practical, and challenging instruction. Drawing from Proverbs, the Old Testament prophets, and the Sermon on the Mount, the letter of James shifts our focus from the person and work of Jesus to the teachings of Jesus—the demanding call of being his disciple in community. Starting today, we begin a seven-week series called The Letter of James: Wisdom from Above.

WHEN RESEARCH CATCHES UP WITH GOD Our God, the Author of Life, sent his son to show us how to live life more abundantly. Yet choices that are meant to bring peace to our soul can often have the opposite impact. How we rationalize our actions combined with the convenience of technology can sabotage our desire to live closer to Christ. Paul and Alissa Crawford are leading us during the month of October on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. exploring current social science research  with surprising findings that line up with God’s Word…just a few centuries later.

PARENTS OF YOUNG CHILDREN,  please join us for a new class in room 207 on Sunday mornings. "Growing Together" is a class for parents of young children offering an opportunity to connect, support, and learn from each other. We discuss relationships, parenting, and try to help each other thrive in this season of life. For more information, contact Brent Stafford at brentstaffordcreative@gmail.com

IN CONNECTIONS GROUPS at The Springs, we live out our calling as Christians every day. Part of living out that calling is being in community. We call these communities “Connections Groups”.  Some of you have never had a tight knit community where you can belong and have authentic & transparent relationships. School is getting back into swing, and now may be the right time to take this next step. If you’re looking for a sign - here it is!
Or maybe it’s your time to be a CNX Group Leader. We need people to step up and start new groups to create environments for others to get connected and be known. There are several ways to communicate with us. There is a QR Code in the church bulletin. You can fill out the visitor form online or check the box on the physical visitor card by the worship center’s Welcome Desk and drop it in the box, or text me, 405-204-0312. I will help you get connected. Email Jason Henley,Connections Delegate at: jasonnealhenley@hotmail.com for more information.

IN 2021, OUR FOCUS AS A CHURCH IS TO GROW! We want to grow in our love for God, each other, and our neighbor! One of the ways we can foster a deeper love for God is to discover the truth and beauty of God’s Word together through regular Bible reading. We are beginning a year-long Bible reading plan in January. Our hope is that you will begin your day alone with God, reading scripture, and then responding to his love with action. We will be using the Bible reading app READ SCRIPTURE. You can download the app now, or check it out at readscripture.org Let’s GROW together!

NEED PRAYER? The Springs Staff and Elders continue to pray for you daily during this tough season. If you have a prayer need, please fill out the Prayer Request form on this website: NEED PRAYER?
