PAUL AND SUZANNE WHITMIRE
Cross & Crown, Oklahoma City
Our mission begins at home. The Springs has participated in the birth and growth of the Cross and Crown mission in downtown Oklahoma City. Led by Paul and Suzanne Whitmire mobilizing a host of The Springs members, the missionaries at Cross and Crown proclaim the love, mercy, and hope of Jesus Christ through service and prayer. This unique and effective urban ministry serves the inner city community of OKC sharing the love of Christ through hot meals, clothes, a listening ear, and prayer. Learn more at Cross &Crown Mission

The many different roles they fill include proclaiming the Good News, promoting spiritual growth, and helping create community at Christ’s Church Rwanda, providing Christian education for children and teens at Kigali International Community School, leading Body and Soul classes, modeling foster care of abandoned children, leading a home based small group ministry throughout Kigali, and providing life opportunities for young women.
BRETT AND KELI SHRECK
Brett and Keli Shreck and their children Kassidy, Natalie, Benjamin and Nicholas moved to Rwanda in Feb. 2010. Their two sons were adopted from Rwanda in 2007. Brett serves as Senior Minister at Christ's Church Rwanda, and Keli is over the children's program at CCR. Around 120 children (age 2-12) come on Sunday mornings with over half of those walking long distances to come without parents. CCR opened a fifth Children's Ministry Class in October to accommodate this growing work of God. Since moving to Rwanda, Brett and Keli have added two children to their family, Gloria and Moses.
Jamie moved to Rwanda in July 2011 and started working with business women who dreamed of reach out to the next generation of young entrepreneurs. Jamie founded Duhugurane to offer holistic work-readiness training for young Rwandan women 18-25 years old, and has evolved to include entrepreneurship training. Jamie has a passion for helping women leave the sex trades in Rwanda. Many are finding new hope through Jamie and her team's efforts.
