Spiritual Formation Retreat.jpg

Come join us for a day focused on the listening side of prayer. The psalmist states "Be still and know that I am God," a phrase that captures our attention with the invitation to rest and attend to God. Yet despite it's appeal, it is not how we live. After a year of forced slowing, we find ourselves so easily jumping back into our frantic pace of life. Heeding the voice of God requires intention and practices that require us to be still and listen. Contemplative prayer offers a way that can foster this way of being with God. A way that allows us to be still and turn our attention toward him. Doing so results in a life that places God at it's center, allowing him to shape us into instruments of the Kingdom.
